Baby Lane

Naelee got a new cousin on June 30, 2009. Lane Patrick was a blessing! We got the chance to wheel Mom in a wheelchair to see baby Lane. It was a very emotional moment. Mom was in neuro ICU on the 3rd floor at Central Baptist and Shera was on the 2nd floor in Mother Baby. It was convenient to have both of them in the same place.

Grandma (Momo) had a rough summer. She had multiple heart surgeries and brain surgery. She is a living miracle and thank God she is alive. I cannot thank Daddy, Nonnie, Mackenzie, Meredith, Scott, and Tom for all of their help with Naelee this summer. Mommy spent many hours at the hospital with her Mommy and I knew Naelee was well taken care of with Daddy, the Groves' and Tom. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping when times were so stressful.

Naelee found Buddy's mole on this face and she thought it was a "bug." She kept trying to pull it off of his face. It gave us a good laugh.

Naelee went with us to Corbin Hospital just to visit before going to Nonnie's. She was playing peek-a-boo with Papaw. She was the positive light to a bad situation.

Naelee's New Hair

Naelee's new thing this summer is to put everything in her hair. She loves to wear green beans in her hair. It is very funny to her as you can see.

Naelee Starts Walking

Naelee started taking a couple steps on her Birthday (May 21st), but she would fall down and crawl. Her preferred mode of transportation was crawling until July 7th. We went to Carpet World to pick out carpet for the basement and there was a small dog there that chased her and from that point on she has walked. These pictures were taken early June. She also loves to play with baseballs.

Grandma's Birthday

These pictures were taken in April for Momo's Birthday. Momo is what Naelee is calling my Mom. I think it is so cute! This was my Mom's first Birthday as a Grandma, so we had to get her a Grandma cake.
